Mary was 61 when she told me she had decided to go to university.
I had never seen her this excited.
Her son however? He wasn't so keen on the idea.
Mary confided, “Pete, told me, ‘Mum, it will be 3 years before you finish your degree, you’ll be 64 by then.’”
Her reply: “Pete, how old will I be in 3 years if I don’t go back to school?”
There are no good excuses. Not too old, too fat, too poor, too busy.
Failing is never as good as succeeding.
Even with a really good excuse!
